Responsibilities: 

 

• Create product specifications based on customer and marketing requirements

• Design, CAD modeling, documentation and assembly of mechanical components and assemblies

• Assemble, align, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies

• Working with, and providing input to, outsourced mechanical design firms, and or contract manufacturers is a plus

• Interaction with purchasing and manufacturing

• Interaction with the customers on drawing submittals and requested information

 

Qualifications:

• Two years’ experience with the mechanical design responsibilities listed above

• Familiar with CAD design software

• Familiarity with common engineering materials, finishes and fabricating techniques is expected

• Good communication skills and possess a winning team attitude

• Ability and skills necessary to assemble, align, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies
